The 3rd World
Congress on
Controversies to
Consensus in
Diabetes, Obesity
and Hypertension (CODHy)
Prague Czech
Republic
May 13-16, 2010
|
We
are pleased to announce
that the preparations
for The 3rd World
Congress on
Controversies in
Diabetes, Obesity and
Hypertension (CODHy),
which will be held on
May 13-16, 2010 in
Prague, Czech Republic,
are well under way.
The Congress will serve
as a forum for
discussion of specific
issues that due to the
tremendous amount of
information in each
field, still remain
controversial. This
applies to controversies
covering all aspects of
the field of
Obesity, Diabetes and
Hypertension diseases involving
diagnostic methodologies
and therapeutic
approaches.
All controversial issues
will be presented and
discussed by leading
international experts,
whom contributed to the
scientific Program,
including
discussions on several
of the large ongoing
clinical studies that
are scheduled to end
during 2009-2010 in
order to resolve
controversies and reach
a consensus.
The 1st and the 2nd
World CODHy Congresses
which took place in
Berlin in 2006 and in
Barcelona in 2008
attracted 4,500
physicians and were very
successful. We received
a positive feedback from
the participants.

Selected presentations
from both Congresses
were published in
Diabetes Care Supplement
1 & 2. Please find the

We believe that the
success of the
3rd CODHy
Congress
depends very much on the
endorsement of the
Lebanese Hypertension
League
which will benefit from
a close dialogue with
influential European and
other countries’
physicians.
